The HealthMate Plus is highly effective at removing toxic carcinogens such as benzene, household cleaner emission vapors, detergents, chemicals and other noxious gases. It also removes dust, pollen, smoke, and other allergens found in the home. It is for the tough jobs where there is heavy concentrations of air pollution.
The Austin Air HealthMate Plus gives air purification for your family home or office. The most chemically sensitive, allergy suffers, children, and the elderly will be able to breathe clean air in the most difficult of airborne particulate and polluting environments.
The Austin Air HealthMate Plus is designed with a "Superblend" or "Plus" filtering unit. This filter is a true medical High Efficiency Particulate Arresting (HEPA) filter containing activated carbon infused with zeolite and potassium iodide. Our customers that are highly sensitive to chemical gases need this unit. These additives improve the removal effectiveness of formaldehyde gases, ammonia and other Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). So, if you are sensitive to chemicals, the Austin Air HealthMate Plus is the system for your home, office, and salons.
The Austin Air HealthMate Plus measures 23"x14.5"x14.5" and weighs 45 pounds. It has a 360 degree intake on all sides of the unit and a directional air outlet that allows you to direct clean purified air towards the ceiling. Its housing is a baked-on, coated steel frame with modern interior components designed to run continuously for years. It draws over 400 cubic feet of air per minute through its filter which contains 15 pounds of activated carbon impregnated with potassium iodide and zeolite (ten to one ratio) and 60 sq ft. The true High Efficiency Particulate Arresting (HEPA) medical filter medium is capable of trapping 99.97% of all polluting particulates as small as 0.3 microns and 95% of particles as small as 0.1 micron.
The Austin Air HealthMate Plus has a 3-speed control switch, 120 volts of power, and uses 115 watts of power when set on high. With a 5 year parts, labor, and filter warranty, plus the powerful air flow capacity, you can be sure to have clean, purified air throughout your room. You will have a healthy, easier-to-breathe environment with the removal of allergic sources, odors, dander, smoke, and most other airborne chemical vapors. This unit has been approved by the CSA, UL, and CE.

It’s been here for one day, but already we have already notice a HUGE difference. This past fall, both my husband and I woke up with stuffy noses ever since it got cold and we began using our fireplace. I received my healthmate plus in the mail the other day. I was concerned that it wouldn't do the trick, but within an hour, I could feel my nasal passages opening up!
