The Austin Air Allergy Machine Jr. Filter is the best filter for allergy and asthma sufferers within the Austin Air Purifiers filter family.
The Austin Air Allergy Machine Jr. Filter is constructed using a true medical High Efficiency Particulate Arresting (HEPA) filter surrounded by a military grade carbon cloth capable of removing the tiniest of particles and absorbing odors and gases. This combination of features is called High Efficiency Gas Absorption (HEGA). The HEPA filters remove 99.97 percent of all particles down to 0.3 microns in size and and 95 percent down to .1 microns.The carbon cloth absorbs gas molecules such as formaldehyde, ammonia, carbon monoxide and other gases.
