    Women who experience breast cancer later in life may have been exposed to air pollution early in life or when giving birth for the first time. Links have been established between air pollution and breast cancer where particulate pollution alters women's DNA and tumor suppression which, in turn, increased susceptibility to this serious health problem.

    Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are carbon-based organic compounds that emit harmful chemical gases. These gases are all around us when there is no air filtration. Nail polish, household cleaners, paints, varnishes, furniture and rugs all release chemical vapors. They can make you feel run-down and tired. You can get cold or flu-like symptoms from these gases. Some of these VOCs can even cause cancer. Those of us that are most susceptible are people with pre-existing conditions, the elderly, and the young. Weakened by these gases, our health risks increase for asthma and other illness.
