The Allergy Machine is highly efficient at removing chemical sensitive particles, dust, pollen, gases, high levels of pollutants, allergens, germs, bacteria, viruses, chemicals, tobacco smoke or other odors. It will reduce the source of irritants to the lungs for asthma and asthma sufferers. Additionally, the Allergy Machine removes mold and mildew which trigger asthma attacks.

The Austin Air Allergy Machine is specially designed for allergy and asthma sufferers by combining the gas trapping ability of military activated carbon cloth with High Efficiency Particulate Arresting (HEPA) filtration. This combination of technologies is referred to as High Efficiency Gas Absorption (HEGA) filtration - a new standard in the industry. This filter medium is capable of trapping 99.97% of all polluting particulates as small as 0.3 microns and 95% of particles as small as 0.1 micron.

Austin Air designed a filtering solution of HEPA filtration and activated carbon woven into a lightweight cloth. This special design was found to be the most effective in reducing the impact of contaminates for allergy and asthma sufferers. The Allergy Machine is so effective that military personnel now use it for removing toxic poisons.

The Allergy Machine measurements are 23"x14.5"x14.5" and it weighs 45 pounds. It has a motor assembly drawing air from all sides, a 360 degree intake and an output on one side directed towards the ceiling. The housing has a baked on coating and is made of steel. It has a 3-speed control switch, operates at 120 volts and uses 115 watts when placed on high speed. At top speed, 400 cfm of air is circulated. This unit comes with a 5 year warranty on labor and parts and a 5 yr pro-rated guarantee on the filter. It is a long lasting air filtering system you can rely on for many years.

I bought two of these air filters for my son’s bedrooms, and mine and I have to say that our allergies are much better. I turned them down to low at night so it doesn’t disturb my son. I put them on medium speed during the day to make sure I am cleaning the house real good. I'm very pleased with the filtering quality so far and have definitely noticed a difference in us of both. Overall, for the price it is an excellent air purifier.

I have had many air cleaners because of my allergies. This is the best of all of all machines big & small. It is quiet, efficient, and it just plain does the job. I used to have several asthma attacks a day. I live in the country where the neighbor’s wood smoke really bothers me. I haven't had asthma attacks since I started using the Austin Air Allergy Machine. I put it on its lowest setting and it is very quiet. Better than the steroid inhaler my doctor had me on!
