The Austin Air HEGA filter is designed specifically for allergy and asthma sufferers.

Because the carbon does not release carbon dust when air passes through it, the design of the Austin Air HEGA filter places the True Medical HEPA paper on the outside of the filter allowing the air to pass through the paper before it passes through the carbon. Because of this design, the airborne particles are removed before the air contacts the carbon. The total surface area of the carbon is available for gas and odor removal only and its useful life is increased. The lighter weight of this unit allows for easier care and maintenance.

Our Carbon/Zeolite Austin Air filters are for people with simple air quality concerns. It provides the best overall coverage for a wide variety of gases, chemicals and allergens.
